How Is The Quality and layout?Infotainment and TechIs It comfortable?Unlike the exterior the inside feels very Yarislike which is a little harder to come to terms with given the extra cash you&#39re forking out and the more styleconscious attitude of the typical SUV buyer There&#39s absolutely nothing wrong with the Yaris Cross interior&#39s shape functionality or quality but there&#39s just an awful lot of black and dark grey plastic Even the steering wheel lacks of the soft &#39natural&#39 leather feel of more upmarket cars in this class and that&#39s where it&#39s priced That&#39s the only real problem though It&#39s functional comfortable and all the controls are logical and fall easily to hand even in the dark where real buttons & dials instead of touchscreens ensures that &#39instinctive&#39 memory can build up letting you focus on the road The seats have simple adjustments with an excellent range of heights available from sitting on the floor to almost feeling like you&#39re riding on top of the car though at that point the low windscreen can be a problem Dynami Toyota has upgraded its infotainment system and introduced support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Navigation is standard with the 90inch HD Smart Connect system which also adds wireless smartphone mirroring but higherend audio is an option on all models aside from the Premiere Edition Go for the 80inch system in the lowerspecification models and you can upgrade it to include navigation as part of the City pack or City and Advanced Safety pack which it also gains surroundview cameras parking assistance and blindspot monitoring Design trim can also be upgraded to the 90inch HD Smart Connect as part of the Tech park It&#39s a big improvement over previous systems but it&#39s still quite slow to use Sound quality is acceptable with the standard sixspeaker audio and overall the system is adequate for the car but it lacks any wow factor which rivals are beginning to include Other technology found in the Yaris Cross is implemented well such as the adaptive cruise Large ground clearance longtravel suspensionGenerally good ride qualitySeats are supportive but quite basic.
